University Computer Science Department to determine its feasibility as well as their knowledgeable input, we can then bring it back to the Medical Computing Club. I believe that most of the initial concerns from the Medical Computing Club will be of security and other basic information that the University Computer Science Department would have expertise in. Following the meeting with the Computer Club and incorporating their comments and suggestions, we should send a questionnaire to each physician stating the purpose and their interest. At the same time, we would have determined from the University the type and amount of funding that is needed. Nonprofit, non-health care individuals with the agreement that they will not have control or ownership of the individual data, data management, or right to obtain inquiries should only provide the type and amount of funding. This is a monumental project, but by developing and implementing this project we can regain some control of our own destiny. I believe that this may then become a model for physicians around the country, and then the next question will be how do we deliver this model to others? We could probably leave that answer for our grandchildren.
I will contact you in one week for your comments and concerns, or contact me sooner if you like.

Best personal regards.
Dan Miulli, D.O.
